Rocks Cry Out is a collection of contemporary Christian worship songs and traditional hymns set in new arrangements. While some people may be familiar with the songs, the arrangements are more "band" oriented, with musical styles ranging from rock and jazz-rock fusion to acoustic pop and folk genres...
...late 60s, 70s, and early 80s musical styles.The songs present the Gospel message in a “wrapper” that feels a little less “churchy” than some listeners may be accustomed to from Christian music, although the message and worship aspects are still very much intact.
Not every song on the CD may be appropriate for a traditional Sunday morning worship setting, but all of them are ideal for “getting ready in the morning”, “driving in the car”, and “daily encouragement” music.
