About the instrumentalists and vocalists...

All of the musicians have been part of various praise teams at local congregations. Most have worked with each other in the past; on worship teams, in secular and Christian music bands, in recording projects, and in outreach events.

Larry Parker (Lead vocals on Ain't Gonna Let No Rock, Come Into This House, Holy, Holy, Holy, Holy Spirit Ever Dwelling; backing vocals on Lift Him Up, Hold to God's Unchanging Hand, and Mourning Into Dancing) - Larry is the music director at Sugarloaf United Methodist Church.

Pam Hamilton (Lead vocals on How Firm a Foundation, You Are Marvelous, the "descant" on Ancient of Days; backing vocals on others) - Pam regularly participates in leading worship at Perimeter Presbyterian Church, has a CD of her own material out, and regularly performs around Atlanta.

Paul Lynch (Lead vocals on Lift Him Up, Mourning Into Dancing, Hold to God's Unchanging Hand; backing vocals on You Are Marvelous) - Paul is on staff at North Lanier Baptist Church. He was the lead singer for the band Truth, one of the early Contemporary Christian bands.

Rob Henson (Lead vocals on There Is a Fountain Filled With Blood, backing vocals on How Firm a Foundation) - Rob fronted the Atlanta-based band "Centurion" in the 80s and toured the southeastern U.S., and he sang backing vocals on the Kansas "Power" album. Jesus turned Rob's life around in 1994, and soon after he went to Russia on a music mission outreach. He now performs from a different perspective in the band "Living Stones", and their debut album is in pre-production. Rob is also a regular vocalist on the praise and worship team at Perimeter Church and he teaches guitar for the Perimeter Academy of the Arts.

Sherilyn Tallent (Lead vocals on Ancient of Days, backing vocals on Come Into This House and Amazing Love) - Sherilyn has been involved with live performance and recording since childhood and participates in worship at North Atlanta Church of Christ. She currently records and works with several bands in the Atlanta area and has a CD of holiday music.

Doug McAlexander (Fretted and fretless electric bass) - Doug toured with some of the early Contemporary Christian artists in the 80's and is the regular Sunday night bassist at Mount Paran Church of God. He is heavily involved in various recording projects as arranger, bassist, and session leader. He also works with new startup churches around Atlanta through CrossTalk Praise Teams (www.praiseandworshipband.com), a pre-organized and experienced praise band for churches seeking to add a praise band without having to staff it and manage it.

Dennis Durrett-Smith (Drums) - Dennis has traveled with several musical groups on mission trips to England, Australia, Ecuador, Russia, Poland and Germany. He plays drums with the Victory Jazz Orchestra in the Atlanta area and is heavily involved in various recording projects around the southeast, playing all styles of music. He enjoys composing and has written pieces for City Center Dance Theatre, Ruth Mitchell Dance Company, and the Alliance Children's Theatre. He also works in the voice-over industry and as an actor in professional theatre. Dennis and his wife founded FISHWORKS, INC., a performing arts ministry. Dennis writes the scripts that FISHWORKS performs.

Allen Cook (Piano, organ, electric piano, and Clavinet, lead vocals on Amazing Love, and backing vocals on Ain't Gonna Let No Rock) - Allen was former music director for The Rock Of Gwinnett Church in Lawrenceville; piano/keyboardist for St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Christian Fellowship Assembly, and Evangel Community Church. He performs with various ensembles around Atlanta and repairs, restores, and tunes acoustic keyboard instruments.

Wade Williams (Acoustic guitar on There Is a Fountain Filled With Blood, You Are Marvelous, Holy Spirit Ever Dwelling, and the arrangement for How Firm A Foundation) - Wade is the music director at ChristChurch Presbyterian and is regularly involved with artists of all types; teaching, encouraging, and playing music to the glory of God.

Jack Freeman (Electric guitar, percussion, rock arrangements) - Jack was involved in the music and recording industry in Nashville, and worked in several bands and recording projects over the years. He was a "pseudo music assistant" under Ted Huddleston at Intown Community Church, where they participated in several music outreach, church growth, and study events together.

Ted Huddleston was the music director at Intown Community Church for many years and is now on staff at McLean Presbyterian Church in McLean, Virginia. He co-wrote the arrangement of There Is a Fountain Filled With Blood, and he introduces those he worships with and works with to hundreds of years of wonderful music from every style and genre.
